THE CHALLENGE

New restaurant opening with a hard launch date and a partially occupied space — half the build was happening around us, including HVAC and electrical above. No margin for delay.

THE SOLUTION

Phased the install: front of house Monday-Tuesday, back kitchen prep Wednesday, kitchen tile Thursday, grout and cure Friday, polish and walk-through Saturday. After-hours work where it overlapped with other trades. Used a rapid-set mortar so we could grout and walk on the same day.

THE RESULT

Restaurant opened on schedule. Floor has now survived 18 months of full-service traffic with no chips, cracks, or grout failures.
