LVP FLOORING KELOWNA
Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) is the most-installed floor in North America right now — for good reason. It's 100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, looks like real wood or stone, and works in literally any room of the house. Becker Flooring installs LVP throughout Kelowna and the Okanagan.
SPC VS. WPC CORES
SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) is denser, more rigid, and more dent-resistant — better for high-traffic areas and over imperfect subfloors. WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) is slightly softer underfoot and quieter. We help you pick based on the space.
WEAR LAYER THICKNESS MATTERS
For residential, look for at least a 12 mil wear layer. For high-traffic or commercial, 20 mil+ is the standard. We won't install garbage product on your floor — we'll tell you when a price is too good to be true.
WHERE LVP SHINES
Kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, basements, laundry rooms, and rental properties. Anywhere you might worry about water, scratches, or cleaning, LVP is the answer.
Common Questions
FAQ — LUXURY VINYL PLANK (LVP) INSTALLATION
Is LVP really waterproof?
The plank itself is 100% waterproof — you can submerge it. The seams between planks can let water through to the subfloor in extreme cases (a flood), but day-to-day spills, mopping, and pet accidents are no problem at all.
What does LVP cost installed in Kelowna?
Labour typically runs $2–$4 per square foot for LVP in the Kelowna area. Quality LVP material runs $3–$8 per square foot. Total installed: roughly $5–$12 per square foot.
Can LVP go in a bathroom?
Absolutely. LVP is one of the best flooring choices for bathrooms — waterproof, warm underfoot, and easy to clean.
